Privacy Policy

Last updated September 07, 2026

True Tech Appliance Repair LLC (“True Tech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and keep personal information when you visit truetechappliancerepair.net, call or text us, or book appliance repair.

1. Definitions

Personal information means information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you, such as your name, phone number, email address, service location, and the details of the appliance you ask us to repair.

Services means in-home appliance diagnosis and repair, scheduling, and related customer support.

SMS means text messages we may send about an appointment, arrival, or repair you requested. Booking requests submitted on this website are delivered by email, not by text.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you give us, including:

  • Name, phone number, and email address
  • City and the address where the appliance is located, if you provide it
  • Appliance type, brand, and a description of the problem
  • Preferred appointment date and other notes you type into the form
  • Records of calls, emails, or texts you exchange with us about a repair

If you pay for a repair, payment cards are handled by the payment service you use with us (such as a card reader at the visit). We do not store full card numbers on this website.

Our site and the tools embedded on it (including the Google reviews widget and the service-area map) may receive technical data such as browser type, device type, and pages viewed. We use that to run the site, not to build a marketing profile for sale.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to a booking request and schedule a visit
  • Diagnose and repair the appliance, and follow up if something needs another look
  • Send service messages you asked for, by email, phone, or text
  • Keep records for billing, disputes, and legal duties
  • Protect the site from spam and abuse

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Text messages

If you agree to texts, True Tech may send service-related SMS about appointments, arrival windows, and repair updates. Message frequency varies by the job. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to cancel texts. Reply HELP for help, or call (916) 908-0800. Consent to texts is not a condition of buying a repair. You can still book by phone or by the email form on this site.

The online booking form emails your request to info@truetechappliancerepair.net. It does not sign you up for a marketing text list.

5. Cookies and similar tools

This site may use:

  • Cookies or local storage needed for the page to work and remember a short form draft in your browser
  • An Elfsight widget that loads Google reviews
  • A Google Maps embed on the service-area section

Those third parties may set their own cookies when their content loads. You can control cookies in your browser. Blocking them may keep the map or the review widget from loading.

6. How we share information

We share personal information only as needed:

  • With email delivery used to send us your booking (FormSubmit)
  • With phone or SMS providers we use for customer messages, such as our business phone service
  • With a payment processor when you pay for service
  • With parts suppliers, only as needed to order a part for your repair
  • If the law requires it, or to protect our customers, our team, or our rights

7. How long we keep information

We keep booking messages, invoices, and service notes for as long as we need them to finish the repair, answer a question about that job, and meet tax or legal record rules. SMS consent and opt-out records are kept as required by the carriers that deliver those texts. When we no longer need a record, we delete it or strip the details that identify you.

8. California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you may ask us to tell you what personal information we have collected about you, to correct it, or to delete it, subject to exceptions that let us keep records we are required to hold. You may also ask us not to sell or share personal information. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To use these rights, email info@truetechappliancerepair.net or call (916) 908-0800. We will not discriminate against you for making a request. We may need to confirm that the request is yours before we act on it.

9. Children under 16

Our services and this website are for adults arranging a home repair. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 gave us information, email info@truetechappliancerepair.net and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use reasonable care to protect the information you send us. No website or email service is perfectly secure. Please do not send passwords, full payment card numbers, or government ID numbers through the booking form.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The new version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
